Hello fellow golfers…ready to tee it up again this year? This year, as in the tradition of the past, we’ll be playing on the Friday of Father’s Day weekend. That’s on June 14 with the normal 8am shotgun start. This year we’ll be playing at the always popular Mount Pleasant Golf Club. This year’s tournament, as usual, will feature a captain’s choice scramble. Lunch will be served immediately following the golf at 12:30pm and will once again feature amazing pit beef and pit turkey, along with side dishes, drinks and desserts.
This year we’ll also have prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin. You can sign up as a single, twosome, threesome or, of course, as a foursome, and we’ll pair you up with other golfers if you’d like us to do so. Non-Stoneleigh residents are also welcome to play. So, if you have a friend who lives elsewhere, feel free to call him or her and create your favorite foursome. Once again, we’ve been able to keep the price down to a reasonable $85 (same as in the past few years).
