Come and join us at the annual Stoneleigh Kids Try-Athlon swim/bike/run!
A Try-Athlon is a swim/bike/run race for fun for children ages 4-12! No experience is necessary—you don’t even need to know how to swim or ride a two-wheeler to participate. Swimmers who have not passed the Stoneleigh deep-water test will use the shallow end of the pool during the event, and bikes with training wheels are absolutely welcome. If your little athlete can run across the shallow end, they can race!
We will have free Rita’s Italian Ice and snacks for participants. Medals will be handed out to all finishers.
WHO: The Stoneleigh Kids Try-Athlon is open to all Stoneleigh residents and pool members ages 4 to 12 years old.
WHEN: Saturday, September 5. The race starts at 8:00am so arrive no later than 7:30am (rain date is Sunday, September 6th)
WHERE: The race starts and ends at the Stoneleigh Pool, 821 Hatherleigh Road
COST: $25 per child
